Gary began his entertainment technology career in 1985 when he joined Score Systems Ltd., a theatrical lighting company based in Kitchener, Ontario, as the company’s equipment rental manager. Two years later, Gary became a partner in the firm through an equity investment. Throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s, Gary was instrumental in expanding Score Systems’ business, helping the company grow its rental revenues and establishing a second office in Toronto. Following Score Systems’ acquisition by Christie Lites in 1995, Gary served as general manager of the Kitchener facility.
In 1996, Gary left Christie Lites to help Westsun establish an office in Toronto. Gary then served as the office’s manager of rental operations for the next 3 years. In 1999, Gary was promoted to vice president of operations for all of Westsun’s offices in the United States and Canada. Gary served in that role until shortly before PRG acquired Westsun in August, 2002. Following several months of working as an independent management consultant, Gary joined PRG as general manager of the company’s Toronto office.
Gary is currently based in PRGs Longbridge facility as Chief Operating Officer for the UK group.
In his spare time, Gary enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid recreational pilot.
